The Mill, New York, and Anonymous recently teamed up to create ?‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§Decades’s, a colorful new ad for Bacardi that takes a party-filled journey back in time through the drink history. From the multi-coloured dance floor of an 80s electro-disco, to a retro 1960s rock and roll party, via jivers in the 1950s, and 1920s dancing flapper girls, each scene blends seamless from decade to decade as we follow the man in search of a bar.
Finally his journey ends at a saloon in 1862 ?‚àö√ë‚àö¬® the year of Bacardi birth – where he orders a Bacardi mojito from the bartender. The spot closes with the strapline, ‘Bacardi the original mojito.’ The ad will play out on US television and in theatres, and a UK and Spanish version are also being created.
