Last week during NAB in Las Vegas, Softimage was fortunate enough to have David Andrews (most recently Animation Director at Omation for Barnyard: The Movie) and his creative partner Susan Kelly join us to speak to the press and attendees about their production company Pony Brand, which is dedicated to creating cg shorts.

Over the last few months, David has been animating the character of “Downtown Jimmy” with a beta version of SOFTIMAGE|FACE ROBOT, and he and Susan were interviewed by a team of students attending NAB with Avid from NYU film school, who later produced the piece overnight.
