Mark Ford and Stephen Charles are the driving force behind their new Wish Films studio. Recently at Lynx Video, a facility based in Denham West of London, Ford and Charles operated the Flame/Smoke/Maya and Avid/Online suites (respectively). Successfully breaking into Wish Films, they have been commissioned to build a new post-production facility using Fusion 5.
“We are very excited about this new partnership. A dvanced capabilities and strong support make Fusion 5 the only logical choice for facilities such as Wish Films. Intense production demands dealing with a multitude of shots and very tight deadlines are the fundamental philosophy behind Fusion, and the nature of commercial post-production. There is no cap as to what can be achieved in the future thanks to this new venture.” – eyeon’s Creative Director of Europe, Tim Doidge.
Wish Films, a green screen studio, is currently under construction and is slated for completion by the end of the month. Past and present works include, but are not limited to, projects done with the BBC to produce children’s series, most notably The Tweenies. Following extensive work in the industry, Ford and Charles understand what it takes to be successful, meticulously setting up their pipeline to ensure that they meet the rigorous production timetable. With a collective background in traditional post, for example linear tape suites, Avid online and Flame, they were keen to build a workflow that used leading technology today.
