Venice, Calif., May 16, 2006 ?‚àö√ë‚àö¬® Digital Domain, the Academy Award¬¨¬®‚àö√ú-winning full-service digital studio and production company responsible for jaw-dropping visual sequences in such films as ‘Titanic,’ ‘Day After Tomorrow’ and ‘I, Robot’ as well as commercials such as the recent Budweiser Super Bowl ‘Superfan’ spot, has been acquired by South Florida-based Wyndcrest Holdings, LLC, a group led by director Michael Bay and investor John Textor.
Carl Stork, a long-time senior Microsoft executive and principal of Wyndcrest Holdings, has been elected chief executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Digital Domain, replacing Scott Ross who is stepping down as CEO and remaining a consultant to the company. C. Bradley Call will remain president and chief operating officer. Bay and Textor will co-chair the Board of Directors.

Michael Bay is one of the film industry most successful action directors whose films, which include ‘Bad Boys,’ ‘The Rock,’ ‘Armageddon,’ ‘Pearl Harbor’ and ‘Bad Boys II,’ have grossed more than $ 2 billion worldwide. Segueing to commercials, Mr. Bay won a coveted Clio Award for his first television ad, for the American Red Cross. He went on to direct some of the most widely seen and best remembered commercials in history, including spots for Nike, Budweiser, Levi, Bugle Boy, Coca-Cola, Isuzu, Miller, Mercedes and the latest provocative Victoria Secret campaigns. Perhaps his most honored ads?‚àö√ë‚àö√Üand among the most imitated?‚àö√ë‚àö√Üare from the ‘Got Milk?’ commercial campaign, which Bay created. John Textor has served as managing principal of Wyndcrest since founding the company in 1997. He currently serves as co-chairman of the recently acquired Digital Domain, Inc., a leading special effects and animation company based in Venice, California. Since 2002, he has served as chairman and CEO of BabyUniverse, Inc. (Nasdaq ‘POSH’), a leading female-focused e-commerce and new media company, based in Jupiter, Florida. Mr. Textor also served as chairman and CEO of Sims Snowboards, a top-tier worldwide snowboard brand. Mr. Textor was a founding director of a Wyndcrest portfolio company, Lydian Trust Company / Virtual Bank.com, a Palm Beach-based diversified financial services with nearly $ 2 billion in assets and $ 8 billion of assets-under-management. Carl Stork is a principal of Wyndcrest and has been involved with Wyndcrest portfolio companies since May 2000. In connection with his responsibilities at Wyndcrest, he serves as chief executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Digital Domain, Inc., a leading special effects and animation company based in Venice, California. Mr. Stork is also president and founder of Ciconia & Co, LLC, a private investment firm based in Seattle, Washington.
Prior to founding Ciconia, Mr. Stork had a long and varied career at Microsoft Corporation from 1981 to 2002, serving in a variety of executive management positions, including technical assistant to Bill Gates, general manager of Windows¬¨¬®‚àö√ú 95/98 and general manager of Hardware Strategy and Business Development. Mr. Stork served on the Board of Directors of Lydian Trust Company until March 2005, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Neomagic Corporation, a semiconductor developer of application processors and mobile TV solutions for hand held devices, and Baby Universe, a leading online retailer of brand name baby, toddler and maternity products. Mr. Stork is also a partner in the Baseball Club of Seattle, owner of the Seattle Mariners major league baseball team.

Brad Call is president and chief operating officer of Digital Domain with day-to-day responsibilities for all company activities, including Feature Film Visual Effects, Commercials, Digital Studio, and the company business development and legal affairs activities. He joined the organization in 1996 and was promoted to his present position in 2002.
During Mr. Call tenure, the firm has garnered five Academy Awards¬¨¬®‚àö√ú — two for Best Visual Effects (‘Titanic,’ ‘What Dreams May Come’), and three for Scientific and Technical Achievement for its proprietary imaging software — two British Academy (BAFTA) awards, and an armload of Clio, AICP and Cannes Lion Awards for such clients as Budweiser and Nike. Mr. Call also oversees the formation of all strategic partnering initiatives within Digital Domain, and was instrumental in establishing the foundation for Digital Domain move into feature film development and production.
Before joining Digital Domain, Mr. Call was an attorney with O’sMelveny & Myers, where he represented Digital Domain in connection with the negotiation of a strategic investment by Cox Enterprises. Mr. Call holds a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and a master degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. He also earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Stanford University Law School.
