Smoke & Mirrors create Double Dutch Ad for Strathmore WaterSmoke & Mirrors lent their technical skills to the latest Strathmore Water advertisement ?‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§Double Dutch’s utilising both their 3D and Flame suites to create a visually exciting spot incorporating Real Flow and Maya CG water skipping ropes alongside urban choreography.
Gary Szabo completed the grade whilst Flame operator Ally Burnett conformed the offline, and cleaned up the original ropes from the footage whilst the 3D team headed up by Rebekah King-Britton tracked in the shots and rotoscoped the original skipping ropes.
All 3D elements consisting of ropes, water splashes and photo-scenic- plates were then passed to Ally to composite, working with Director Martin Wedderburn to choose the best photo-scenic images to incorporate.
?‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§Double Dutch’s which first aired on the 18th June 2007 is one of two spots for Strathmore Water, the second airs in mid July and will run back to back.
