motion 2016 marks our 10th anniversary and we’re going all out to make this year’s show our best ever
“It’s not often that people embark on a 100-day challenge prior to an event, but this year is special. motion 2016 marks our 10th anniversary and we’re going all out to make this year’s show our best ever,” states Becky Padilla, co-founder of the event.
“We’re challenging people to do something creative each day, for the next 100 days,” explains motion co-founder Elaine Montoya.
Last year, Creative Director, Greg Gunn challenged himself to create a different animated gif based on mythological creatures every week in 2015. The result? Mythical Mondays – featured on motion.tv – were a great success.
Mike Winkelmann – better known as Beeple is an example of someone who has taken the concept of a creative challenge to the extreme. Years ago, he challenged himself to create something new each day. But here’s the kicker – he never set an end date! As of this writing, he is on day 3227!
We’re challenging people to do something creative each day, for the next 100 days
