Former nailgun* President Michael Waldron Joins TV Land

michael_waldron_2012TV Land has hired former nailgun* president Michael Waldron as vice-president/creative director/design and animation, it was announced by Kim Rosenblum, executive vice president, marketing and creative, TV Land. Waldron will be based in New York and report directly to Rosenblum.
 
“We are thrilled to have Michael join the TV Land team,” said Rosenblum. “His vast experience working with brands and developing amazing creative to build a unique identity will be a huge asset as our brand continues to evolve. I am eager to see where Michael will help take us in the future.”
 
Previously, Waldron co-founded Nailgun*, a creative company that specializes in advertising, broadcast, motion graphics and multimedia and focuses on developing client branding strategy. Waldron served as president and creative director since 2003. Prior to Nailgun*, Waldron held the position of creative director at The Diecks Group for four years, where he managed a full creative and production team. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Communication Arts and Design.

Additionally, Waldron has received numerous professional honors from various organizations, including PROMAX/BDA, Graphic Design USA, ID Magazine and Type Directors Club. He currently teaches graduate courses in motion graphics at the Parsons School of Design.
